Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa received the credentials of seven newly appointed ambassadors to Syria during an official ceremony held at the People's Palace in Damascus on Sunday.

The ambassadors represent the European Union, the Vatican, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Greece, Sweden, and Denmark.

The Syrian Presidency announced that President al-Sharaa welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their diplomatic missions and expressing hope that they would contribute to strengthening relations between Syria and their respective countries.

After the overthrow of the Assad regime, many countries that had cut ties with Syria are once again reopening their embassies and rebuilding relations.
